Our black Dexter cattle can be seen up close on the meadows and at the waterholes. The animals are quiet, quite trustful and curious, and if you have the patience to do so, you can come pretty close to them. Should you decide to go to the meadows where the animals graze, you do so entirely at your own risk – but we have never experienced problems of any kind, when our guests have taken the opportunity to make a four-legged friend of close to 300 kg.
Our dog Gaia is extremely friendly with everybody. She is running free in the yard and never disturbs the peace and tranquility, which characterize our yard, in any way. On the contrary, she may show you the way to very special undisturbed places.
We have a cat, Buster and her four cuddly kittens. The cats sleep in the hayloft, in the boiler room or in the barn. However, they are not allowed to enter the apartments, even if it is very tempting.
Our chickens run free, and it is not possible to get close to them. But we can guarantee that you will hear our rooster just once – at 5 o´clock in the morning … and then again at seven. And it should be ike that on a farm!
In addition, we have our own small apiary, which produces excellent honey and ensures through their industrious inhabitants that the wide variety in the fields will be sustained and also guarantee a manifold yield of fruits and berries.
