We would hope that you will take the advantage get to know the surroundings. There are endless opportunities to enjoy a cozy place for a peaceful and sensory break, alone or with your loved ones, your friends or family. You have ample opportunity to be active – there are trails along the beach and on the cliffs, and you can undertake bathing, swimming and fishing trips.
The nature on Vesteraas is rich in biotopes. Biotope is another term for the mosaic of habitats, which we find in the open – in marshes, forests, meadows, ponds, on the beach, the creek and other places – and they are all different with their own unique sounds, smells and their light, with their own climate, animals and plants that have adapted to the sites.
Whatever we encounter in the fields, on trees, in the barn and in the beehives, does exists in a constant interaction. The well-being in a place favors in turn another one, and vice versa. A forest orchard and a natural corridor are examples, small groups or “unused” corners belong among them, and the goal is clear – the propagation of plants and animals to ensure and connect to other green oases for people and animals.
Vesteraas is part of Voderup Klint, which was declared national treasure in 2014.
