Vitsø Nor is a fine example of the restoration of nature and offers a number of interesting experiences. The history of the area and the use of the land can teach us something – about the handling by the farmers, the utilization of the open countryside, the drainage and the construction of dams. Today the water is redirected, which is especially for the bird life of enormous advantage. A trail leads around the lake and can be a challenge, it therefore is important to wear appropriate footwear.
